Client v. County of Cayuga

Our Client was prevented from taking his medication to address his neurologically-based tremors during his incarceration. He then experienced several seizures, causing him to fall to the ground repeatedly, which led to him sustaining a traumatic brain injury that required surgical intervention. Doctors later misinterpreted his CT scans and MRI’s. As a result, our Client was no longer able to care for his every day needs and required 24-hour care. Our Client recovered $1,300,000 from the doctors and $2,400,000 from the County of Cayuga.
