Client v. Home Depot USA, Inc.

Our Client was working at Home Depot when another employee knocked a six-pound box off of a shelf and caused it to strike our Client in the head. As a result, she sustained a traumatic brain injury and was rendered permanently disabled. Despite the defense’s efforts to disregard our Client’s continuing cognitive impairment as being caused by her depression, with the help of a highly credentialed expert witness, we successfully proved that pre-existing depression can complicate recovery from a brain injury.
